Ingredients:
2 T. Vegetable oil
3 or 1 T. White wine vinegar
2 T. white sugar (
3)
1 3 oz pkg chicken flavor ramen noodles, crushed, seasoning packet reserved
1/2 t salt
1/2 t ground black pepper
2 T sesame seeds
1/4 c sliced almonds
1/8 c pumpkin seeds (
add)
1/2 medium head cabbage shredded
1/2 long carrot shredded
5 medium green onions, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Whisk together oil, vinegar, sugar, ramen noodle spice mix (skip),salt,& pepper to create a dressing
- Place sesame seeds, almonds, and pumpkin seeds on baking sheet for 10 min. or until browned.
- In a large salad bowl, combine cabbage, onions, and crushed ramen noodles. Pour dressing over the cabbage and toss to coat evenly. Top with toasted seeds and nuts.
