Dewberry Pie by Glenda Mach
Ingredients:
Topping:
1/3 c softened butter
2/3 c flour
2/3 c sugar
Cinamon to taste (not in the recipe)
Crust:
1 1/2 cup flour
2 T. sugar
about 1/2 t. salt
dash of vinegar 1/2 t
2 T. cold milk
1/2 cup oil
Mix and form into ball. Lightly flour pie plate and put ball into pie plate and press with hands into pie plate to form crust. ( I used 10 in plate)
Pie:
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c canned evaporated milk
1/3 c flour
1 t vanilla ( also I added but not in the recipe)
2 c dewberries
Instructions:
Preheat over to 350F
Mix topping for pie and set aside
Put 2 cups of dewberries in a pie shell
In a separate, bowl combine the remaining pie ingredients (everything but dewberries)
Pour mixture over the dewberries
Sprinkle with the crumble topping
Base for about 1 hour until golden brown
