Magic sand is a hydrophobic sand that stays dry in water and can be used to make sculptures under the water. It will also float on the surface of water.

To make the sand, bake ordinary sand in the oven for 1 hour to completely dry it out. Spray it with Scotch Guard. Shake it up and spray again. Make sure the sand it well coated. Let it dry and you are ready to go.
